On December 12, 2015, Torrance Aikido Club members convened once again at El Paso Cantina, not only for our end of year celebration and Christmas party, but also to celebrate our dear teacher Chinn Sensei’s birthday! 

In addition to the usual tasty fare from El Paso Cantina, we were joined by restaurant staff in singing happy birthday to Chinn Sensei and presenting him with a thank you card, a gift and a taro and pudding birthday cake.

We have had many new members as well as a few returning members joining us this year, and we are grateful to have them all with us! Many thanks to Veronica Hayashibara for her help in preparing this event, as well as Russell Ono for his lovely photos, included below.
